How It Started
Tag My Link was born from a simple realization at a networking event. Marcos Mendez, an experienced project manager in banking and fintech who was running an IT consulting firm at the time, found himself juggling a stack of paper business cards - some already lost, others from people he didn't remember anymore. He met some contacts who had NFC cards, but they were clunky, unappealing, barely usable, or simply had a contact card to download to his phone.
The follow-up? Manual data entry. Lost contacts. Missed opportunities. The problem wasn't networking, it was the tools.
After launching Business Cards Malta, the first NFC business cards store in Malta, in 2024, Tag My Link was created with a clear vision: professional networking should be effortless, accessible, and free for everyone. Not just another platform, but a better way to connect.
